Check it, fresh from '98 and dusted off from the box of masters is an exclusive from my 'UK Hustlerz Vol.5' mixtape from the mighty Gunshot crew. They stepped up to the game here and delivered me a rocker that kicked off the tape in fine stylee... Let me know what you think anyway...

2001 Itch FM show with Jehst live in the studio

Stepping back in time to the old Itch FM pirate radio days, up in some empty tower block apartment come rain or shine, each and every Sunday between the hours of 6 and 8pm across London town. That's how the show started out from week one of Itch FM's first broadcast, and continued for 6 years straight. Big shout to my loyal listeners from these times, I know you're still checking the shows! 1L.

So, here we have one of these shows, from March 2001, lifted off the original tape used that day, remember tapes? I had the one like Jehst up inside the place... These we're the times I used to sing the intro to the show, now that's gangsta! And have to cut the swearing on tracks out live on air, jokes.

Unreleased Lyn E Lyn track

Here's the last of the unreleased Sindecut action, again another DJ Fingers production with Lyn E Lyn on the vocal, a track called Splurtin, don't sleep. I can remember seeing this crew perform live at the Southport Soul Weekender around the same time 'Live The Life' was released, so that would have been around 1990. A solid crew who bought something fresh to the UK's Hip Hop scene... Aswell as sporting Chipie jeans with the pin rolls, arrh yeah...

Blak Twang & The Brotherhood freestyle

'Sup folks... Been mentally busy running the business recently and a shit load of other tings going on in my life so apologies for the lack of posts here, also our divshare audio files we're downloaded too many times and got maxxed out, and i'm not paying to upgrade it so we'll see how they go from now on, if it spazz's out again we'll put shit up via megaupload or something... The latest radio show is always located on main radio player on the Suspect Packages website anyway, it's just the older ones that are on divshare or megaupload etc...
Anyway, September's radio show is coming, in the meantime i've been going through the stash of old tapes and releases i have here and transfered this gem for you. Back in the day I used to use one of these, infact i still have it and it's what i'm using to transfer all these old and unheard tapes...

It's all about the double tape decks yo... So, I used to record a lot of radio shows back in the day, Westwood on Capital, 279 on Choice, and Max & Dave on Kiss... This freestyle is from the late 90's on Max & Dave's show of Blak Twang & The Brotherhood, they go for it big style for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Estelle demo

As promised, the first post of many coming from the dusty demo tapes and the like that I have sat here. And as she's been riding high in the charts recently we thought why not kick off with the UK's first lady and premier export, after Monie Love that is...
Here's an early track lifted off a demo tape that I copped off Estelle called 'Ahead Of My Flow', pretty decent it is too. Not sure who's on production here, but it's kinda fresh, check how young she sounds. Not sure when this was but i'm guessing around '99??




There's a few more from Estelle (or Est'elle as she was then) lurking in the boxes which we'll post at a later date, plus a whol'eap a others, keep checkin' back...
