London Zoo EP preview tracks


London Zoo aka LDZ aka MC's Dabbla, Cobes, Rocksta, producers Sumgii & Pierre Green, and DJ Frosty have a hefty new ep dropping on April 12th. 'The London Zoo EP' at present is coming as a download only, however some vinyl may emerge. Suspect Packages Live - Fliptrix & DJ Roast album launches, Friday 12th March


Friday the 12th of March is the date for our next 'SUSPECT PACKAGES LIVE' showdown, taking place @ Vibe Live (upstairs @ Vibe Bar), Brick Lane, London, E1. 8-1am.

A sick line up once again with a double album launch on the night...


Fliptrix is gonna be launching his second long player 'Theory Of Rhyme', with special guest Verb T by his side on stage, and DJ Madnice on the wheels. There'll also be some surprise guest action from the album too...

It's released officially on the 22nd of March on High Focus Records and features some biiiig production from Jehst, Verb T, Chemo, Jon Phonics, 184, Runone, Medison & Chapta. Plus guests vocals from Kashmere, Jehst, Verb T & Jamm Baxter.

We'll also have DJ Roast bringing pretty much the whole line up from his forthcoming album 'Cuttin It Fine' onto the stage! Expect to see Skandal, M9, Cyrus Malachi, Stig & Syntax, Brad Strut and Phoenix Da Icefire all gettin' live o... The album drops on the 1st of March!

On the decks will be Disorda & DJ LoK, dropping Hip Hop, Reggae & Dubstep pressure...

Roots Manuva 'Motion 5000' live


One of my favourite UK artists has to be Mr Roots Manuva, a fine performer, recording artist and generally a good bloke all round really. Over his six albums he's consistently pushed the boundaries and his live performances are next level.
Here's a recording from a show in Belgium 2001 featuring the epic 'Motion 5000' complete with live strings, a track lifted off his groundbreaking 'Brand New Second Hand' album, a bonafied classic in my eyes...

A revamp.... plus D.ablo - Find Your Way

I've been meaning to revamp this blog for a minute now, just so i can let loose a lot more music that i'm being sent, playing out, and generally into myself. Everyone kinda knows i'm fully involved in the UK's Hip Hop scene, and have been for 15 years or more. Outside of Hip Hop i'm also massively into Reggae, Soul, Dubstep, Experimental Beats and much much more, anyone that caught my 'Nitro Tape Thump' mix will know this...
