Demon Boyz - Hocus Pocus (original version) & video

I'm the living Demon Boyz fan, anyone who knows me well knows i'm down with the Demonz demonz demonz. So when this popped up into my world last i smiled, nodded my head and hit play immediately. Not only what appears to be an unheard original version of 'Hocus Pocus', as found on their 1992 album 'Original Guidance', but a dooope video to go with it. Twilight Firm & Demon Boyz all in attendence.
Apparently this was filmed by two fans at the time, for the love, and what a job they did, totally capturing the vibe and fashion of that time within the UK's Hip Hop scene. Just check for yourself anyway, it's all about the dancers...

'Reggae Mega Bash Stage Show' tape

As it's carnival time here in London, and my birthday weekend (always a carnival!) I thought i'd drop this little gem on ya... Recorded straight from the Disorda tape vaults comes this killah live show featuring the likes of Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Charlie Chaplin, Jack Radics, Super Cat, Bounty Killer & Yami Bolo, all backed by the City Heat Band. I'm a huge Super Cat fan, and this is one of my favourite live recordings I have of him, performing all his big hits. Not sure of the exact year, or even where this was staged? It's from around the mid 90's though. Enjoy...

A Side: download > Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, Charlie Chaplin, Jack Radics & Yami Bolo.

B Side: download > Super Cat & Bounty Killer.

MFTC Archives Vol.1

It has to be the release of the year surely? Just check it. Took me back to some good times listening Task Force with friends. This also features Ramson Badbonez, Remus, Eno Redrum, Mic Skilligan & RawDog...
Looking forward to more of this. Had to boost it up. Original foundation sound of Bury Cru and Task Force... Don't just listen, purchase, only a fiver. 15 tracks in total. What do we say to a physical release though? This is so dope.

'So, here it is...The first volume of the official Task Force archives. Music From The Corner is at least 10yrs old now and as a celebration we have gathered up some old unreleased gems for our very loyal fan base to listen to in its original lo-fi format. The tracks you will hear are all unfinished and have never been mastered, in fact they only exist as mp3s/wavs so you get them as we finished them all those years ago. One of the tracks date back to before Task Force was formed and features a very young Remus on the chorus. The rest are all tracks that were left over from our MFTC albums, for one reason or another. We really hope you enjoy these extracts of days that have long past and can perceive them as exactly that. This is not up to date material and should be heard as part of Task Force history! Look out for Volume 2 coming very soon. Love, Peace & Music From The Corner...Farma & Chesta'

And whilst you're at it, take some time out and check the full length King Of The Beats 'The Movie'. A must viewing, shout to Pritt!! Keep, keeping on... This pretty much sums it up (from the KOTB site):

'Filmed and Edited all in 5 weeks on a Zero Budget. Here is The first full HD Film from Director Pritt Kalsi. Featuring the event ‘WHO’S GONNA TAKE THE CRATE?’ July 16th 2011. Agor, First Hand & Hi-Soul take on the challenge to see who is the KING OF THE BEATS.
