Here ya go, one of my old Stone Love sound tapes digitized, it's a bit patchy as this tape has been rinsed to death over the years. Back to back Stone Love dubplates from around the mid 90's era, if I can find them there's plenty more where this came from. I grew up with this shit, proper soundclash business, Stone Love running tings and still going strong today, some 38 years on!
Lifted off Verb T's new album 'Serious Games', here's the video for 'Tearing The Sky Down', one of my favourite tracks with some hefty uptempo break beat action from producer Jon Phonics, featuring Fliptrix & Kashmere. The album is out now via YNR Productions...
My boy Sonny Jim does it again, ill spittage over a sick Illmind beat right here. Cop the free Eat Good Records download of 'Purple Patch pt.3', and watch for the full 4 part 'Purple Patch EP', plus all the instrumentals, dropping at the start of February to Suspect Packages...

Disorda, manager of Suspect Packages, relentless champion of the underground and possessor of a great record collection, takes the helm of Bonafide Beats with a little help from irrepressible host, Serocee. Popping a tin of Red Stripe, Disorda proceeds to break open a dusty crate of top ranking 80s and 90s dancehall vinyl and put together a set of riddim killers. Rarities and classics jostle together and capture the contradictory nature of the sound. Opening track Lone Ranger’s Badder Dan Dem sets the tone for a mix that has the vitality, the chaos, the bombastic, the political and the dark tinges of the genre.
Highlights include Don Carlos Lazer Beam, who in 2010 comes out sounding like the prototype for Diplo and Switch’s Major Lazer incarnation, Nardo Ranks’ Skin Out which a hypnotic ode to the fairer sex, Admiral Tibett’s soulful Leave People Business and Little Lenny’s Gun a Baggy, a track heavy both in tunage and the fact that it’s subject matter concerns the danger of STDs lurking in a girl’s panties (random factoid alert, this was apparently banned from Jamaican radio in 88).
So there we are, Bonafide Beats #08, a soundsystem guaranteed to shake the snow off the roof of your car.

This DVD documents a covert culture within British social history in which the audience will be viewing “exclusive footage” from the London Underground graffiti scene. This film is such an important film because it actually captures a point in time when graffiti, Subway Art, Vandalism on the London Underground was at one of its peaks in history from the millennium onwards, giving the viewer the opportunity to compare and relate the film to what’s going on around them today. This is done in order to recognize and document social fashions and changes that matter to the youth and working class of Britain and in order to have an accurate and honest social history.
Viewers will be seeing sequences of "Tube Runners", "Depot Footage" and "Action footage" as well as a "Christmas section". This exclusive footage has voiceovers from some of the scenes most prolific writers along with archive news footage, CCTV visuals and footage shot by the B.T.P in a Tube Depot. With a soundtrack by "Demon Boyz", "London Posse", "Hijack" and more this British Hip Hop DVD is visually compelling, informative and action packed from start to finish.
January and February 2007 three of London’s most dedicated and passionate graffiti writers from the East End and Essex sadly lost their lives on London Railways whilst creating their artwork and the second half of this DVD is a tribute to them and their tragically short lives. In this factual, access based documentary style film you will see exclusive, unseen footage of Bradley Chapman “Ozone”, Daniel Elgar “Wants”, and Paul Johnson “Wazu” along with other archive material...
