Ramson Badbonez
“an awesome emcee painting vivid street scriptures with finesse”
MC from north London with a fierce reputation, known for his collabs with Task Force and recent mixtapes ‘The Official Volume 2’, also has a highly anticipated new release planned Summer 2011.
This is the year of Ramson Badbonez and he’s bombing into Bristol with M.A.B, and Diversion Tactics producer and DJ, Zygote for a rare performance. Expect to be rocked and blasted with all styles from horrorcore to dubstep, to big sounding club bangers, this is not for the light hearted as the badbonez lyrical prowess is gonna blow you away.
Disorda
'Backing British Beats since 1996'
Over 10 years representing the entire UK Hiphop scene through Suspect Packages online hiphop store, Disorda is a legend in his own right. Arguably, since its inception in 1996, Disorda has held the underground UK Hiphop scene together taking it from the mixtape and pirate radio days of Itch FM, through to the online shop, podcasts and blogs.
In 2010, Suspect Packages Live, a monthly showcase of Uk Hiphop, was launched at Vibe Bar in London, and now, we’re introducing it to the West Country, with Disorda giving us a live DJ-set of his Dub Chronicles radio shows rocking the finest from the foundation & forward. A Reggae, Roots, Rocksteady, Ska, Dancehall, Dub, Lovers Rock, Steppas & Dubstep selekshun.
Contraband Breaks Ensemble
The super tight live band from the long-standing weekly hip hop night Contraband Sessions hosted by DJ Skint, deliver the heat with heavyweight instrumental funk and classic hip-hop breaks, Skint on the cuts with Da Hybrid on the mic plus a few special guest's thrown in for good measure! And if thats not enough the b-boys will be busting some serious moves down on the floor!
Contraband Breaks Ensemble are: Jim Hopkins, Arj Magee, Troy Da Hybrid, Evan Newman and Dj Skint. Hiphop truly comes alive when they fill the stage so this brings our night to full circle.
J’dakut, Ironfingaz & Dizar aka Invincible Armour
Scratch DJ performance from Sensei FM’s finest, three of the five-person Scratch Crew ‘Invincible Armour’, 2 mixers 3 Decks and watch them do their magic!
Zygote
One half of Boot Productions alongside Jazz T, Zygote is a producer, DJ, vinyl fondler, general all round enthusiast. Prepare your ears for a journey through Jazz, Soundtracks, 60s, Soul, Reggae, Ska, 60s Electronic, Funk and Hip Hop. All hail, the DJ.
The Bastard Sunz
Stoking the fire of Badbonez, repping Bristol to the fullest, B-Tol, Milestone, Rola & DJ Rogue. Heavy on the grind with their debut album Le Discotheque Martyrdom, these boys are full of boundless energy to get you throwing your babies in the aiiirrrrr!
Fingerfood & Squared Roots Clothing
Fingerfood, hardworking DJ/Producer on the Bath and Bristol scene for the last few years with Dusty Heads Crew, now launches his clothing label, Squared Root Clothing. With original designs and hand screen-printed by the man himself, this is dressing yourself in art. And with Fingerfoods defiance of Serato and MP3’s, it’s not surprising that the design flying of the shelves uses the image of the dearly loved ‘Rooted Records’ shop on Gloucester Road, with the tag ‘Support Vinyl’.
With the artwork on the flyer crafted by Fingerfood, this launch party will have exclusive prints being sold, t-shirt and hoodies, and bonus giveaways!
